Deritend Industries was so named on 1st September 2007 after the recent purchase of leading UK gearbox supply and repair specialist RMB Engineering. Prior to this point the Deritend Group Limited has been formally in existence since March 2001, following a management buy-out of the original company.
The company’s origins date back to 1898. The group has evolved into a dedicated service provider to industry, and has ambitious growth plans for the future.
The main physical business units include: Deritend, RMB Engineering and Pre-Formed Windings. Induction Services and Machine Tool Services are part of Deritend.
The company specialises in electric motors, cabling, power systems, drives and automation equipment, mechanical components and systems including gearboxes and bearings, through to pumps and metal fabrication work. Also included are pre-formed windings, induction furnace equipment and machine tool services.
All are solutions based services, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Each of these 'core areas' require an exceptional level of skill to execute, with Deritend having the in-house capability, resource, knowledge and reputation to ensure competitive advantage.

The aim of Deritend Industries is to Improve Plant Maintenance, Increase Efficiency, and Reduce Costs for our customers. Our customers range from theme parks to hospitals, automotive production sites to food processing plants, all of which rely on our maintenance expertise and facilities to remain safe, efficient and able to deliver.
