Richard joined the business, in its previous form, in July 1993, from a subsidiary of Rolls Royce Plc. Previously was Regional Manager, until he took up his current responsibilities as Managing Director of The Deritend Group Limited. Based at Head Office in Wolverhampton.

Stuart joined The Deritend Group Limited at its inception in March 2001. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Stuart has extensive experience operating as a senior finance professional in a wide variety of industry sectors.

Vernon Fletcher

Operations Director

Vernon joined Deritend in 2005 and is currently Operations Director of Preformed Windings.
Derbyshire born he was educated at Buxton College Grammar School and went on to gain an ONC in Electrical Engineering. Following a craft apprenticeship in the repair and winding of HV machines he went into management and became the UK General Manager for VRI a Swiss company that is the world's largest supplier of insulating materials for the motor /generator industry. With over 40 years experience in the industry Vernon is also the current President of the AEMT.

David Garman

David Garman

Chairman and Non-Executive Director

David Garman’s experience includes spending nine years as Chief Executive of logistics group TDG, which he held from 1999 until the company’s takeover in 2008. Prior to TDG, Garman spent 20 years at United Biscuits in a range of management roles and was a director and chief executive of Allied Bakeries, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods. Other positions held include non-executive director of Phoenix Group plc and non-executive director of Carillion plc, where he is also senior independent director. In 2009, Garman established The Oakwood Partnership, which brings together experienced executives with a track record in manufacturing, supply chain, operations management and M&A, helping client organisations to enhance the value of their operations. He is also an Associate of Duke Corporate Education and a Business Adviser for Enterprise Ireland.
