Richard joined the business, in its previous form, in July 1993, from a subsidiary of Rolls Royce Plc. Previously was Regional Manager, until he took up his current responsibilities as Managing Director of The Deritend Group Limited. Based at Head Office in Wolverhampton.

Stuart Smith

Finance Director

Stuart joined The Deritend Group Limited at its inception in March 2001. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Stuart has extensive experience operating as a senior finance professional in a wide variety of industry sectors.

Information Systems Director

Chris joined Deritend Industries in 2004, with more than ten years experience in IT Management and Consultancy roles in many business sectors. He is a graduate of the University of Sunderland, and a member of the British Computer Society ELITE group. The position of Information Systems Director on the Deritend Industries Board demonstrates the company's commitment to delivering genuine added value to customers by aligning IT strategy with business strategy.

Alex Meiklejohn

Operations Director

Alex Meiklejohn joined the Deritend Group Ltd as Operations Director in January 2008. Alex started his professional life as a cadet apprentice with Weir Pumps in Alloa where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He then moved through the managerial ranks with Weir in a number of roles including UK Sales Manager, Service Centre Manager for their largest repair facility in Northwich before taking on a Regional Management role. Alex is based at Head Office in Wolverhampton.
